Gum disease is a type of infection that spreads to the bones under the teeth. This is a common problem that causes tooth bone to rub. There are two stages of gum disease. The first stage is also called gingivitis or pyorrhea in common language and if this condition becomes severe, in addition to swelling in the gums, there may be problems of filling pores and bone melting, which is called second stage ie periodontitis. If it is detected on the very first stage, then it can be avoided from the damage caused by it.

Flap surgery and grafting are done if there is bone loss in addition to tooth scaling, root surgery. Under this, after cleaning the root of the tooth, the damaged gums and bone are corrected.
